Established in 2024, the Venusian Society was founded upon work that began under the name Aphrodite in Ropes, initially offering shibari workshops. It was created from the desire to build a space where erotic knowledge could be approached with depth, care, and reverence. Today, the Venusian Society is the first, and currently the only, organization in Greece dedicated to structured kink, BDSM, and alternative relationship education. This position carries responsibility as much as vision. We move deliberately, set clear standards, and prioritize consent culture, care, and accountability as foundations meant to be questioned, expanded, and built upon.

We believe that the erotic is not separate from who we are. It is woven into the ways we communicate, connect, experience our bodies, understand our desires, and build relationships with ourselves and others. BDSM, kink, intimacy, and pleasure are not subjects to be reduced to stereotypes or hidden behind shame. They are practices that require education, self-awareness, responsibility, and respect.

Venusian Society is an educational institution dedicated to the exploration of kink, embodiment, and conscious connection. Through workshops, masterclasses, gatherings, and our growing library of resources, we create spaces where knowledge can be shared, curiosity can be nurtured, and individuals can deepen their understanding of themselves and their relationships.

Inspired by the archetype of Venus, our approach honours the erotic as an art form and a path of embodied wisdom. We explore power exchange, pleasure, ritual, communication, and connection through the foundations of consent, negotiation, and care.

At the heart of Venusian Society is a philosophy that recognizes care as a form of power, knowledge as something to be shared, and community as something that must be intentionally cultivated. We believe that true liberation is not found in abandoning boundaries, but in developing the awareness and confidence to understand them.

Venusian Society exists for those who seek to learn, explore, and engage with intimacy beyond the limitations of convention. It is a growing archive of knowledge, practice, and experience dedicated to honoring the complexity of human desire and the many ways we create meaningful connection. Queer-led and neurodivergent-wired, our space is built on diversity, inclusivity, and committed to kink as a site of meaning, intimacy, and transformation.

Alongside our own offerings, we hold spaces for educators, facilitators, presenters, artists, performers, and professionals who have something to offer. We welcome both established voices and those feeling the call to contribute, and it is our honour to offer a platform rooted in shared values, discernment, and mutual respect.
