The Venusian Society is founded on the belief that erotic expression and embodiment are sacred practices. Our ethics arise from devotion, from care for one another, and from the understanding that beauty, vulnerability, and power all require responsibility.
Our work lives at the intersection of art, sensuality, spirituality, queer culture, and consensual kink. The ethical foundations below guide every class, every ritual, every gesture, and every interaction in our spaces.
These ethics are not rules for compliance.
They are a shared philosophy.
A way of holding each other with intentionality, reverence, and clarity.
1. Sacredness of the Erotic
We treat erotic energy and kink as sacred arts.
• Erotic expression is never trivialized.
• Participants are never objectified.
• The body is honored as a site of beauty, wisdom, and agency.
• Sensuality is approached with maturity, awareness, and respect.
Our containers are not performance-only spaces. They are ritual spaces where each person’s erotic self is treated with dignity.
2. Consent as Devotion
Consent is not a checkbox.
It is a living practice, renewed every time two or more people come into relationship.
We commit to:
• Clear communication
• Explicit permission
• Ongoing check-ins
• Enthusiastic agreement
• The right to change your mind at any moment
• The expectation that boundaries are honored without question
Consent is an act of devotion. It is how we show care for ourselves and for one another.
3. Confidentiality as Protection
The magic of our spaces depends on trust.
• What happens in the room stays in the room.
• No photos, recordings, or personal details are shared without explicit permission.
• Participants’ identities, relationships, and stories are not disclosed elsewhere.
Protecting one another is an ethical responsibility.
4. Power Held With Integrity
Kink, sensuality, voice, and ritual all involve power dynamics.
We handle power with intentionality and skill.
• Dominant energy is not used to coerce, pressure, or manipulate.
• Surrender is never demanded.
• Authority is used to guide, never to control.
• Leadership is accountable, transparent, and trauma-aware.
Power is not a weapon in our hands. It is a tool for transformation.
5. Trauma Awareness and Care
We recognize that people arrive with different histories, comfort levels, and nervous systems.
Our ethics include:
• Respecting personal limits
• Encouraging self-regulation and breaks
• Offering clear instructions and grounding practices
• Avoiding pressure to perform, reveal, or endure more than one’s capacity
• Creating environments where agency is always centered
We are not therapists, but we are responsible facilitators.
6. Diversity and Anti-Oppression
The Venusian Society is a queer-rooted, femme-led, body-diverse, neurodiverse, and inclusive space.
We do not tolerate:
• Racism
• Homophobia
• Transphobia
• Ableism
• Fatphobia
• Xenophobia
• Sexism
• Classism
• Any form of hate or discrimination
We honor the multiplicity of bodies, experiences, and expressions.
We create spaces where difference is cherished.
7. Artistic Integrity
Kink, sensuality, ritual, and performance are artistic practices.
We approach them with:
• Skill
• Precision
• Curiosity
• Creativity
• Aesthetic intention
• Respect for lineage
• Commitment to safety and technique
We believe art is a moral practice. How we create matters as much as what we create.
8. Safety Culture
Safety is the foundation that allows erotic and artistic exploration to flourish.
We practice:
• Proper tool handling
• Clear communication signals
• Sober participation
• Functional gear and equipment
• Awareness of physical limitations
• Respect for personal pace
• Use of spotters, assistants, and community care
Safety is not censorship. Safety is liberation.
9. Responsibility in Community
We are each responsible for the energy we bring.
We commit to:
• Showing up prepared
• Arriving on time
• Communicating clearly
• Asking questions when unsure
• Owning our mistakes
• Honoring the container
• Treating facilitators and peers with respect
• Leaving the space better than we found it
Community is a shared creation.
Everyone contributes to the atmosphere.
10. Boundaries Around Commerce
Our spaces are not designed for solicitation or personal business promotion.
We protect the integrity of the container by prohibiting:
• Unsolicited pitching
• Client hunting
• Coaching recruitment
• Marketing disguised as conversation
Our work is sacred and communal, not transactional.
11. Transparency and Accountability
The Venusian Society is committed to:
• Clarity in communication
• Honest handling of conflicts
• Addressing harm with care and firmness
• Upholding boundaries consistently
• Making decisions in alignment with our values
We hold ourselves accountable as facilitators and expect participants to do the same.
12. Evolution of Ethics
These ethics evolve as our work grows.
As we deepen our craft, expand our community, and refine our offerings, our ethical structure will shift with us.
Updates will always be communicated clearly.
Our ethics are alive.
They breathe with the community.
They protect the devotion at the heart of everything we do.
